They have double, dark crimson flowers consisting of ruffled petals looking similar to the flowers of a Peony. A medium sized, compact shrub. Grows to approximately 250 to 300 cm and 180 to 200 cm wide. Prefers a semi-shaded position with rich, fertile and well-drained soil.
