Better known as the Japanese White Birch. Has a similar growth to Betula pendula but having larger leaves and distinct white bark. Highly valued for its prominent white trunk. Suitable for growing in most gardens with average type soils. Will require watering during dry spells. Hardy, deciduous and looks great when planted out in small groups.
Grows to about 8m x 5m when mature.
