Better known as Yedda Hawthorn. Forms a dense, rounded evergreen shrub with paddle shaped leaves, covered with grey downy hairs when young. Clusters of perfumed white flowers in summer, followed by blue-black berries in autumn. Plant in full sun or light shade where soils are free-draining Maybe used to form low hedges and screen and is suitable for growing in coastal locations. Grows to between 1.2m and 1.5m in height and width.
