Has large, glossy green leaves which appear orange-bronze as new growth starts to appear. Clusters of white, slightly fragrant flowers appear in late spring. These are then followed by reddish-black berries that are eaten by birds. Grows well in both full sun or semi-shade where soils are fertile, moist but free-draining, only tolerates light frosts.
Grows to between 3m to 4m both in height and width.
