A dense, fast-growing evergreen shrub that bears fragrant white flowers in Autumn which are then followed by bright orange-red berries. Silverberry responds well to being trimmed which makes them suitable for planting out to create hedges and screens. They also fix nitrogen, tolerate cold and wind plus they may be grown in coastal locations. Thrives in full sun or partial shade in moist to dry soils that are free-draining.
Left untrimmed they grow to about 3.5m both in height and width.
