A hardy native evergreen with dark, glossy foliage that forms a dense shrub. These are often grown to form hedges and screens, readily responds to being clipped. Copes well to most extremes except for having wet feet and is not really affected by disease. Grows well in either full sun or partial shade and they are ideal for growing in coastal locations.
May grow to about 2.5m if left unclipped and up to 2m wide.
