A reasonably quick growing tree that has soft green foliage and produces pendulous racemes of fragrant, pale pink flowers in mid to late Spring. Suitable as a feature tree that also provides shade. Plant in a sunny position where soils are suitably moist and free-draining. Hardy and tolerates periods of drought once established.
