A beautiful, native evergreen that develops into a large shrub or small tree. Has glossy, green foliage that are arranged in whorls around the stems and produces clusters of up to five flowers that are red or yellow, sometimes tinted with reddish-orange from Spring and have a light fragrance. Flowers are then followed by orange seed capsules. Thrives in full sun or partial shade where there is shelter from cold, drying winds where soils are suitably moist and free-draining.
May grow to about 2m both in height and width.
