Double grafted pear tree – two varieties on one! Save space and plant just one tree which will pollinate with the two varieties. Provides a longer and more varied fruiting season.

Red Bartlett pears are a good cropping variety. Tasty fruit with sweet, melting white flesh and brilliant scarlet-burgundy coloured skin when ripe. They usually ready to harvest from February onwards.

Conference pears are a vigorous variety that produce good crops of fruit with long necks, green in colour with some russeting and a good juicy flavour! They are mid-season and partially self-fertile with fruit being ready to harvest in and around April.

Plant in a sunny sheltered position where soils are fertile, moist especially during the growing season and when in fruit, and free-draining. May grow to approximately 5m in height – so prune to desired height. If you are looking to have another pear tree, plant near another variety such as Packham’s Triumph.
