The fruit has yellow skin with a striking scarlet flush. Flesh is a cream colour that is firm and crisp with a distinct sweet flavour. A prolific cropper and a good keeper. Mid-season. Would benefit from being pollinated by another apple variety such as Kidd’s Orange, Monty’s Surprise, Peasgood Nonsuch, Priscilla or Royal Gala.
