Also known as Wire-Netting Bush and Korokio. Can be found naturally throughout coastal New Zealand. A hardy shrub with a wiry, tangled growth habit. Has small grey-green foliage on black stems, small yellow flowers that are followed by small red berries. Tolerates dry conditions, exposure to salty coastal wind and poor soils. Evergreen.
Grows to approximately 2m in height and up to 1.5m wide.
