Weeping Beech is a cultivar of the common Beech with a fairly large tent-like structure with masses of purple-green leaves creating a solid tumbling wall in summer. Plant in full sun is preferred for better foliar colour but will grow just as well in part shade and requires fertile soil that is free-draining.
Height is pre-determined by the point at which it has be grafted onto the understock.
