Better known as Ngaio and Mousehole Tree. A fast growing, native evergreen that develops into a small spreading tree or large bush with multiple stems or trunks. It is easily recognized by its fleshy foliage that are covered in transparent dots. Tolerates drought and is suitable for growing in coastal locations, either in full sun or partial shade. Has small white flowers in Summer then followed by pink-red berries in Autumn that are readily eaten by birds. May grow to approximately 7m x 4m.
