Pyracantha Shawnee, Firethorn – Pb6.5

Extremely hardy shrub with attractive, glossy green foliage and masses of white flowers in spring that are loved by bees. Through the autumn into winter, the plant is smothered with yellow berries that attract birds. Wonderful to espalier against a wall or fence and look beautiful when in berry. May be trimmed and trained to shape. May be grown in either full sun or partial shade and tolerates most types of soil that are free-draining. Very frost hardy and is suitable for growing in coastal locations. Grows to approximately 2.5m.
