Flowers begin to appear in late winter and right through to the end of spring. They are small, dark red in colour and with golden yellow stamen. Grows well in full sun or partial shade in soils that are moist, fertile and well-drained. Suitable for forming hedges and screens, may also be grown as a specimen shrub. Hardy evergreen.
Typically grows to about 2m x 1m.
