Also known as Golden Currant. Set against a backdrop of glossy green foliage, the pale yellow flowers have a spicy clove-like fragrance are produced in bunches at the tips of arching stems. The early spring flowers of Ribes aureum are followed by edible black berries that often persist well into late summer. By autumn, the foliage turns to bright shades of red and purple. This fabulous flowering variety provides a long season of interest and being tough and resilient, it will grow well in most gardens.
Grows to approximately 1.2m to 1.8m.
