Large Australian shrub or small tree tolerant of poor, dry soil. Has a of mass of creamy-white bottlebrush type flowers in spring and summer which attract bees and nectar-feeding birds. Lovely pinkish-red foliage when it emerges. Hardy evergreen.
Grows to a height of about 5m.
