Has a dwarf growing habit with small, chocolate coloured foliage. Produces spike of bluish-purple flowers in early to mid-spring. A hardy, evergreen perennial that likes full sun or partial shade in soils that are rich in humus, evenly moist and free-draining.
Grows to about 7cm in height and upto 20cm wide.
