Produces outward facing, rich, purple-red flowers and cream coloured stamens. They begin to emerge in mid to late Winter and through to mid-Spring. A clump-forming, evergreen perennial that is suitable for growing in either full sun or partial shade where soils are rich in humus, moist but free-draining.
May grow to between 50cm and 60cm both in height and width.
