An English heritage variety that produces large, flat fruit with red striping over yellow-green background. Has firm flesh that is juicy and slightly tart. Use for cooking. A good, regular cropper that is a reasonably disease resistant tree. Mid to late season. Would benefit from being pollinated by Braeburn, Discovery, Golden Delicious or Granny Smith.
