A vigorous growing variety that is virually thornless and produces heavy crops of medium to large fruit that are burgundy-black in colour with an excellent flavour. Needs to be grown in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are suitably moist during the growing season and when in fruit, fertile and free-draining. Fruit is ready to harvest in December and through to February. When fruiting has finished, prune out canes as required.
Usually grows to about 1.5m x 3m.
