Plum Wilson’s Early – Pb18

Wilson’s Early is an early season, crossed plum variety. Smaller, with yellow and red skinned fruit with a red bloom. Has juicy yellow flesh with a slight tart flavour. It is a vigourous growing tree that does not grow too large. It is partially self fertile but will yield more if pollinated with another variety of plum such as Billington, Black Doris, Omega or Santa Rosa. They grow best in a sunny, sheltered position in fertile, free-draining soils. Harvest in January.
