A mat-forming , evergreen perennial with dark green to dark purple foliage and produces erect spikes encircles with blue flowers in Spring to early Summer. Best grown in partial to full shade in average type soils that are moist but free-draining.
May grow to about 20cm in height and up to 100cm wide.
