A compact evergreen shrub with glossy, dark green foliage that have a bronze tinge on the new growth. Produces clusters of fragrant, lilac-pink flowers in mid to late spring and all through summer. Foliage becomes a purple-bronze colour in autumn. Plant in full sun or partial shade and grows well in average type soil that is moist but free-draining. May be grown to form hedges and screens.
Grows to between 1m to 1.5m.
