Port Wine Magnolia. A hardy, evergreen shrub that has highly fragrant, dark burgundy-red flowers from Spring and into Summer. Ideal as a feature/specimen plant that may be planted out to create hedges and screens, used for topiary work or trimmed up to form standards both for the garden or grown in containers. Tolerates frosts and suitable for coastal locations.
Grows to between 3m and 4m in height and up to 3m in width.
