Also known as Indian Hawthorn. A tough, evergreen shrub bearing pink and white flowers from spring to early summer followed by blue-black berries in autumn. Has thick, leathery, dark green foliage that has a hint of bronze during the colder months of the year. Prefers full sun and free-draining soil. Tolerates exposed locations and coastal conditions. Suitable for growing in containers, as a feature or specimen plant, or planted out to form hedging. Left unclipped, it may grow up to 2.5m.
