The hardy, native, monocot tree thats also known as the New Zealand Cabbage Tree. Narrow, upright, palm-like tree with arching sword like leaves. Large panicles of fragrant white flowers in spring. Plant in full sun or partial shade, hardy and suitable for growing in coastal conditions. Looks great when planted out in small groups. Do not allow to dry out over summer.
Grows to about 10m x 2.5m.
