Purpurea is a variation of Cordyline australis but is does not grow as big. Plant in full sun or partial shade where soil is moist but free-draining. Tolerates most soil types, wind and is frost hardy. Ideal for the home garden. Native evergreen.
Grows to about 5 to 6m.
