Also known as Katote, Soft Tree Fern and Smiths Tree Fern. Has soft green fronds with the stems having a fine covering of soft golden hairs. Plant in a cool, partially shaded area that is sheltered from frost and wind. Requires soils that are moist but free-draining and with plenty of organic material. A semi-hardy, evergreen native.
Grows to about 3.75m x 3m.
