Produces large, rounded flower heads up to 20cm across with cerise to purple-blue florets depending on the soil pH. Flowers begin to appear in early to late summer and change to an incredible wine-red colour during autumn. Plant as a specimen or in small groups. Requires moist but well-draining soil and partial shade is ideal.
Grows to between 1.2m and 1.5m in both height and width.
