The bright red-orange flowers appear in spring and early summer and make a spectacular display. A good choice for coastal gardens, planted in a moist, but well drained soil. Also a great hedging plant. Tolerates strong coastal winds and most soils but avoid damp or waterlogged sites.
Frost tender when young.
