Abutilon megapotamicum is a shrub growing up to about 2.5 m. Produces a mass of hanging flowers with rich red calyces, yellow petals and burgundy anthers. Grows well in either full sun or partial shade where soil is fertile, moist but free-draining. Mulch during warmer months and prune after flowering to maintain shape.
