Produces pure red hose-in-hose type flowers from early spring and through into summer. Has an upright, compact growth habit and may grow to about 80cm. Requires partial shade and soils that are moist, free-draining, slightly acidic with plenty of organic matter. A hardy, evergreen shrub that may be grown in containers.
