Commonly known as Scotch Broom and Lena Scotch Broom. This flowering, deciduous shrub has a rounded form with erect, slender stems. Has fragrant, yellow and red flowers from late spring and into summer. Plant in full sun and will happily grow in poor to average type soils that are free-draining. Hardy, deciduous and tolerates drought, light to moderate frosts.
Grows to between 1.5m and 2m both in height and width.
