Deutzia is an easy shrub to grow, tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions. It is free-flowering with upright growth and sprays of open bell-shaped flowers, pink and white in colour which begin to emerge in spring. The plant is tough and very hardy to frost. Prefers to be planted in a sunny position where soils are slightly acidic, moist but free draining. Deciduous.
Grows to between 1m and 1.2m both in height and width.
