An evergreen shrub that produces scented, creamy-white flowers throughout winter and spring which attracts nectar-feeding birds and insects. May be grown in semi-shade but they do prefer full sun in average type soils that are free-draining. Tolerates moderate frosts, dry conditions, periods of drought and are suitable for planting in coastal locations.
Grows to about 3m in height.
