Known as the New Zealand Pepper Tree because of the peppery taste of the leaf. This selection has been chosen for the strong red new leaf colouration. The leaf also has a history of use in traditional medicine. Grows in a well drained soil with full sun to part shade. Tolerates dryness.
A slow grower that gets to about 1.2m in height and width.
