Red Baron is a beautiful clear red flower – striking carmine red with traditional dark alstroemeria whiskers and throat markings, & yellow ombre hue on a few petals. Delightful small shrub in the garden. Excellent cut flower. Alstroemeria’s are also a great choice for a pot/container for those people lacking space. Planted in numbers for visual impact as they look particularly striking. If picking, pull the stems from the base to promote new flowers rather than cutting.
Prefers well drained soil and some protection from wind. Plant in full sun or dappled / part shade spot. Water well for maximum results.
