A dense, reasonably quick growing conifer that is ideal as a shelter tree and grown for its timber. Best planted in a sunny position where soils are fertile and free-draining. Evergreen, cold-hardy ans suitable for growing in coastal locations.
Grows to between 20m to 25m and upto 7m in width.
