Cussonia paniculata, Mountain Cabbage Tree – 4Ltr

An evergreen tree that develops into an interesting shape and has unusual shaped foliage. It is a short, thick-set tree that rarely grows to more than 5m. Regarded as a pachycaul succulent as it develops a swollen stem base. Slow growing and the mature tree produces small green flowers in mid to late spring followed by the fleshy, purple-maroon fruit. Plant in full sun where soil is free-draining.
