A hardy evergreen shrub best known for its sweet, aromatic fruit and having bright red flowers similar to that of the Pohutukawa. Suitable for grow as a hedge that tolerates coastal conditions and mild frosts. Plant in a sunny position where soils are fertile, but will tolerate most types of soil that are free-draining.
