Also known as Manatu, a medium sized, wind resistant, native, spreading tree producing cream coloured flowers on separate male and female trees. Has small divaricating juvenile foliage that gradually gains the mature, larger, birch-like foliage. Reasonably quick growers even when planted in dry, exposed locations. Suitable for hedging, shelter or as a feature, specimen tree.
May grow to a height of 12m and upto 4m wide.
