Has burgundy coloured flowers that appear in early to mid-Spring growing up to 25cm across.Vulcan makes an excellent feature/specimen plant that likes a sunny position that is sheltered from wind. Thrives in humus-rich soil that is moist but free-draining and slightly acidic. Deciduous.
Grows to approximately 4m to 5m in height.
