Known as “Red Sunset Maple”. Has a broader growth habit than that of A. October Glory and the foliage turns to various shades of orange and crimson during autumn. Once again, it is ideal as a specimen tree, planted out to form an avenue or arranged in small groups. Plant in either full sun or part shade. Tolerates most soil conditions that are fertile, moist but free-draining.
Grows to about 10m x 7m.
