Also known as the Texas Whitebud. Forms into a small round-headed tree with large, heart-shaped foliage that are glossy green then become bright yellow in autumn. Masses of white flowers appear along the bare stems in spring. Prefers a sheltered sunny position with fertile, free-draining soil. An excellent small specimen tree. Hardy and deciduous.
Grows to about 5m x 4m.
