Malus ioensis Plena, Bechtel Crabapple (Standard) – Pb28

A hardy, deciduous tree that bears lightly fragrant, double pale pink blooms that gradually fade to white as they age. Foliage is a lush green colour with lobed edges that turns to bronze-red and orange in Autumn making them a perfect choice for a feature tree. Best suited to a sunny position where soils are fertile, suitably moist and free-draining. Has good resistance to powdery mildew and are drought tolerant once established. Responds well to being trimmed to help maintain its shape.
