A hardy, deciduous tree that is a popular choice for home gardeners. Emerging from pink buds, frangrant, white blossom begins to appear in mid to late Spring followed by heavy crops of slightly oval, golden-yellow fruit that are a good source of food for birds in late Autumn, early Winter, plus they maybe harvested to make crabapple jelly.
May grow to between 5m to 6m both in height and width.
