A hardy, deciduous tree that has wider spreading branches than Nyssa sylvatica. Has large, smooth foliage that are green in Summer turning to a stunning scarlet-pink and orange in Autumn. Tolerates wet and poor-draining soils.
May grow to approximately 8m x 5m over 10 years.
