Hardy evergreen native originating from the Nelson region. A graceful, weeping tree with long, pendulous leaflets and greenish-yellow flowers that begin to appear in Spring. Plant in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are free-draining. Tolereates frosts, periods of dry conditions and poor soils. Attracts nectar-feeding birds.
Grows to approximately 5m x 3m in 10 years.
