This citrus is a hybrid between a grapefruit and tangerine. Producing heavy crops of large, reddish-orange fruits. Seminole Tangelos are medium to large, have extremely juicy flesh, rich in flavour with a hint of sharpness, and are thin skinned. Fruit may be harvested from July/August through to October.
Plant in a sunny, sheltered position where soils are fertile, moist but free-draining. Apply a suitable citrus food as and when required. Grows to about 2.5m x 2m in 10 years.
